Set in several acres of grounds and gardens, The Lenwade Country House Hotel is a large and attractive mock-Tudor building. There is a lake - which is stocked for fishing, and a stretch of the River Wensum runs alongside the grounds. The Hotel is situated down a long, tree lined drive, off the A1067 Norwich - Fakenham Road. The Fayre took place in the attractive grounds and gardens and the Marquee and Conservatory. For the day of the Fayre, the Hotel arranged a Beer Tent and a BBQ. The Hotel is the first in the country to be granted a Zoo licence and is developing its Zoological Gardens in the grounds. The sun sets over the River Wensum, so we hoped for a beautiful sun-set at the end of ‘The Longest Day.’
